About Us

Howel was born out of wet walks, bath-time battles, a mountain of old soggy towels, and laundry piles. The kind of messes only a dog can make, and only a human can stress about. Down in Australia, Kim McIntosh (Whiskey’s human) and Julius Cruickshank (Frank’s ride-or-die) knew there had to be a better way.

So they designed towels that don’t just dry dogs, they keep up with them. Super absorbent. Fast drying. Functional and plush fabrics. Fur-shake-off magic. Clean easier and keep the chaos contained. And good-looking enough to hang proudly by the front door.

But the story doesn’t end there. Through our re-home initiative, every towel should get a second life. We recommend passing it on to another dog parent, donating pre-loved Howel towels to a local shelter, vets, or outreach teams supporting people and pets doing it toughest, or gifting one to a homeless pet owner (because absorbency is priceless in tough times).

Because towels shouldn’t end up in landfills. They should end up where they’re needed most, under paws, around wet fur, and with people who love their dogs as much as we do.

We also give a portion of profits to shelter neutering programs that reduce suffering for dogs and cats without homes.
